Dorothy Brezinski, 90, of Fort Collins died Sunday, June 22, 2008, at her daughter and son-in-law's house in Timnath. Dorothy was born Sept. 22, 1917, in Kinney, Minn., to Joseph and Sophie Kresoya. She married George Brezinski in 1944 in Indiana. She worked in various positions in Hammond, Ind. Dorothy was known for her cooking, baking, and beautifully crocheted tablecloths, afghans, and doilies. She enjoyed bowling and visits with her family. She was a member of the Pine Street Presbyterian Church in Hammond, Ind. Survivors include a son, Jerry of Novato, Calif.; daughter, Geraldine Brezinski and devoted son-in-law Ed Benedict of Timnath; brother, Leonard Kresoya Barbara of Edina, Minn.; grandchildren, Dom Brezinski, Kenneth Brezinski, Kelby Benedict Megan, and Amanda Benedict. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George; sisters, Stella Mandarich, Vi Cavalier, Rose Price, and Mildred Hibbard. She leaves behind faithful, loving friends, Dorothy Benedict, Jack and Betsy Luther, Sue and Al Ayala, Scott and Kathy Snover, and Bonnie Stroup. Cremation is planned.
