Nov. 21, 1917 to Nov. 27, 2012 Doris Knight Iverson died peacefully in her home at the age of 95. Doris was born and raised in Kansas. After teaching school in Kansas and Oklahoma she joined the Marine Corps during WWII where she met her husband, Frank Iverson. Following the war they moved to Frank's home town of St Paul, Minnesota where they raised their two daughters. Doris moved to Fort Collins, Colorado in 1990 following Frank's death. She is survived by her daughters, Julie Iverson of Indianapolis, Indiana and Cathy Iverson of Fort Collins, Colorado; brother, James A. Knight and sister-in-law, Jean Knight of Pratt, Kansas; and granddog, Iris. Doris is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions may be made to Pathways Hospice in care of Bohlender Funeral Chapel, 121 W. Olive, Fort Collins, Colorado 80524. A private memorial service will be held in Pratt, Kansas.
