Donna Jean Spight of Fort Collins, passed away February 19, 2017.

Donna was born in Denver Colorado March 19, 1934 to Hazel and Guy Bruce. She grew up in the Hudson area, and after graduating moved to Fort Collins. There she met and married Harry Spight, her husband of 65 years. Following Harry's service in the army, they made their home in Fort Collins raising three children.

Donna's passion was her family. She spent endless hours following their activities and caring for her children and grandchildren.
In 1983 Donna survived a heart attack. She became a charter member of the Mended Hearts, becoming American Heart Association's Heart Mother of the Year 1991. Through the Attack Pack she participated in many races including the Boulder Boulder and continued her love of running and walking until the end. Donna was a long time member and 2001 president of CAHAV. She gave unselfishly of her time as a PVH volunteer and was an inspiration and a support to many.
Donna also loved "bargain" shopping, movies, and lunch with friends. She loved reading, gardening, crafts, sewing, and crocheting. She had a strong faith and enjoyed church and bible study.
Donna is survived by her husband, Harry Spight; children, Steve (Kelley) Spight, Cindy (Dale)Stone, Doug (Lisa) Spight; grandchildren, John (Katie) Spight, Jake (Andrea) Stone, Jordan (fiancée Molly) Spight, Sara Stone, Joe Stone, Riley Spight, and Rachel Spight; great grandchildren, Luke Stone, Reese Spight; brother, Billy (Pat) Bruce; many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

The family will have a private service celebrating Donna's life.
