Donald David Swackhammer aka Duck/Duckie
Donald Swackhammer passed away on July 28, 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Willa Jo Swackhammer, 2 sisters, Pamela Shipley and Ann Renae Swackhammer, his brother, Tom Swackhammer, and wife Laura Stevenson. He is survived by 3 sisters, Karla Bencomo and Lisa Swackhammer both of Fort Collins Colorado and Susan Swackhammer from Alvin Texas, sister-n-law Julie (Bruce)Perkins of New Castle Wyoming, a son, Donald David Swackhammer Jr aka DJ (mother Samantha Gibson), 2 step-children Ramsey Hill and Raven (Kenny) Whitney, several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
He was born on June 23, 1962 in Roswell New Mexico. He graduated from Fort Collins High School in 1981. He worked in the heating and air conditioning field for 20 plus years.
Donny lived in Ft. Collins, Co, Austin, Texas area. He lived in Newcastle, Wyoming and Cheyenne, Wyoming. He made many friends every where he lived.
Donny enjoyed camping, the outdoors, hiking, fishing, hunting, watching all different sports. He really enjoyed watching the Colorado Rockies and Denver Broncos.
Special thanks to Swedish Medical neuro- ICU staff especially Michelle and Heather also his niece Rebecca Gray for providing transportation for Donny's sisters to Swedish Medical for family meetings and to see their brother.
