Dominga Leyva, 88 of Greeley, died April 4, 2014 at a Greeley Health Care Facility. Mrs. Leyva was born November 29, 1925 in Cuero, Texas to Candelario and Florentina Leyva. Dominga was married to Santos Salinas who preceded her in death. Dominga moved to Fort Collins in 1980 from Eagle Pass, Texas. She then moved to Greeley in 2004. She enjoyed gardening and all of her children. Survivors include her sons, Martin Salinas, Torbio Salinas and Santos Salinas all of Greeley, Fransicio Hernandez of Texas and Raul Salinas of Idaho; daughters, Maria Ybarra of Fort Collins, Julia Gurrero of Loveland, Margarita Salinas of Greeley, San Juana Franco of Texas, Florentina Salinas of Fort Collins and Connie Trejo of Loveland; 100 plus grandchildren, 50 plus great-grandchildren, and 40 plus great-great grandchildren. A Rosary will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Friday at Holy Family Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church on Friday at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Roselawn Cemetery.
