Dennis William Luscher, Sr.

Dennis William Luscher, Sr., 65, of Fort Collins, died August 31, 2014 at his home. Dennis was born February 11, 1949 in Elgin, Illinois to James and Peggy Finley. Dennis married Sabra Ann Murr on August 31, 1969 in Fort Collins, Colorado. Mr. Luscher was in the Navy from 1967-1969. He moved to Fort Collins in 1975. He worked as a machinist for Forney Industries and Bob's Appliance. Dennis enjoyed fishing. Survivors include his wife, Sabra; sons, Dennis W. Luscher, Jr. of Los Animas, CO, Eric Luscher and David Luscher both of Fort Collins; brother, Jim Finley of Fort Collins; sisters, Vicki Shockley of Tucson, AZ, and Linda Kissel of Lawrenceville, IL. Preceding Dennis in death are his parents, James and Peggy Finley and his brother, Robert Finley. A Celebration of Life will be held at American Legion, George Beach Post #4, 2124 County Road 54G Old Hwy 287 on Friday at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society in care of Bohlender Funeral Chapel, 121 W.
