Dennis N. Daskalakes

Dennis N. Daskalakes, 68, of Harvey's Lake, died unexpectedly on September 29, 2009, while on a hunting trip in the state of Wyoming. He was born in Pottsville, the son of the late Peter and Laura Dickerson Daskalakes. He was a graduate of Allentown High School and an Army Veteran. Prior to his retirement he was employed by Bethlehem Steel. Dennis was preceded in death by his son, David. Surviving are his wife of 23 years, Kathleen Zabresky Daskalakes; a daughter, Gina Daskalakes of California; 3 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his dogs, Casey, Baby, Elliott, Maggie, Dixie, and Lewy. A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made in Dennis' memory to the Luzerne County SPCA, Plains.
