After a late-stage diagnosis in September and hard-fought battle throughout October, DeeDee went home to be with Jesus on Tuesday, November 11th.
She is preceded in death by her best brother (as she affectionately called him), Brett Shoemaker, her Goddaughter, LeAnne Aycock, and her precious mother, Aneta Shoemaker. She is survived by her loving father, Jay Shoemaker, and a slew of devoted family and friends-who-became-family from church, work and her gym.
A Celebration of Life service will be Saturday, Nov 22nd at 3pm at Mountain View Community Church followed by a reception with light refreshments.
