Deborah Wadena

Our good friend, sister and leader in the community Deborah Ann Wadena was born on April 27th, 1953 in Sioux City, Iowa. She attended Colorado State University and graduated in 1994. As you may know she battled diabetes for many years and underwent two leg amputations and numerous surgeries. She currently lived and passed away on Dec. 22, 2008, in Fort Collins. She was a devoted Latter Day Saint and was proud of her Omaha/Winnebago heritage and was always proud to see her siblings, her children, nephews and nieces and the entire grandchildren dance and participate in their culture. Deborah leaves behind two daughters, Gina and Candis; one son, Jorge and four grandchildren. She also leaves behind her mom, Audrey; siblings, Tom, Kelly and Terri who live here and Kirby who lives in Minnesota. Also preceding before her is her father, Thomas Wadena and brother, Timothy Wadena. The funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday Dec. 29th at the LDS church at 1400 Lynwood Street.
