Dean Warren Olson, age 77, of Loveland, Colorado, passed away on May 24, 2026. He was born in Sioux, Iowa, but grew up in Fort Collins, Colorado.
Dean was a member of the Larimer County Sheriff's Posse for 45 years. He was also a member of the Senior Pro Rodeo Association for 9 years. He served in the reserves of the U.S. Army.
Dean loved team roping, trail riding, rodeos, and watching Broncos football.
Dean is survived by his wife, Lauretta and twin brother, Gene, two stepdaughters, six step grandchildren, and five step great grandchildren, two nieces, two grand nieces, and one grandnephew. Dean was preceded in death by his father, Laverne, "Ole" Olson and Mother, Dorothy Olson.
Per Dean's request, no service will be held.
Dean will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
