David Curtis Rhodes II, passed away unexpectedly on March 22, 2021. David lived in Fort Collins, Colorado with his wife Bobbie Rhodes and their two children.
David was born January 28, 1972 in Silsbee, TX to his Mother Rebecca Marie Cherry and his Father David Curtis Rhodes Sr. David grew up and graduated High School in Silsbee, TX and worked in logging. He has four children still living in Texas. He moved to Colorado in 2007 where he met the love of his life Bobbie Martinez. They married in 2008 in Fort Collins, CO. David took on the fulltime role of Dad to Bobbie's two children Ryan and Breanna and always treated them as his own.
David had a kind and loving soul with a big heart and would try and help anyone in need. From helping neighbors shovel their walkways, to helping them fix broken down vehicles, he would do whatever he could to make their lives easier. David loved to try and make people laugh with his crazy, corny and sometimes not so funny jokes, but at least his effort would lead to smiles. He was a huge Dallas Cowboys fan and loved watching football religiously. David also enjoyed watching movies, dancing, listening to music, fishing, wood working, fixing cars and loved drives in the beautiful Colorado mountains. But most of all he loved being with family.
David is survived by his Wife Bobbie; Six Children Breanna Severin 19, Ryan Severin 20, Jacie Rhodes 21, Aspen Rhodes 21, Dallas Rhodes 26 and Braxton Rhodes 28; his Sister Leslie Rhodes of Tomball, TX; Sister Katherine Perez(Phillip) of San Antonio, TX; Parents in-law Ruth and Mike Parker of Windsor, CO; Parents in-law Bobby and Claudia Martinez of Fort Collins, CO; Sister in-law Kristina Cardenas of Windsor, CO and numerous of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other family & friends.
Preceding David in death were his Father David Curtis Rhodes Sr.(Butch) and his Mother Rebecca Marie Cherry Rhodes(Becky).
A private service celebrating David's life will be held at Bohlender Funeral Chapel.
