David Owen

David Bruce Owen, 51, of Fort Collins, passed away Dec. 14, 2007, in his home, surrounded by family. He was a beloved husband, father, son and brother, and will be missed by all who knew him. He was born Feb. 9, 1956, in Denver to Harold Richard and Eleanor Marie Owen and was the third of seven children. David had a very strong faith and was a model of Christ in our lives. He had a tremendous love for his family. He loved the mountains and loved to laugh. His strength and will were unmatched. David was preceded in death by his daughter, Stephanie Ann; and his father, Harold Richard. David is survived by his wife, Beverly; daughter, Wendy; son-in-law, Brett; son, David; daughter, Holly; his mother, Eleanor; and siblings, Roger, Gary, Ronald, Theresa, Philip and Mary. A rosary vigil will be held at 5 p.m. Thursday at Bohlender Funeral Chapel, and a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Loveland Burial Park, Loveland. In lieu of flowers, send contributions to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, in care of Bohlender Funeral Chapel.
