David Robert Nix passed to the loving arm of Jesus on June 1, 2021. He was born in Denver, Colorado on August 10, 1955. Dave grew up on the Nix Dairy Farm in Fort Collins with his brothers and sister. Gifted in music, he composed ballads and western songs throughout the years. Excelling in wrestling, he was state champion in his weight class representing Fort Collins High School. Dave won a national Fiesta Bowl title that was held prior to the game. He attended Mesa Community College in Arizona and Colorado State University. He was a professional bronc and bull rider winning numerous awards. His last ride was at age 35. A born salesman, he earned Tri-State honor awards while employed at Southwest Dodge in Denver. He was in his 22nd year as General Manager of Mr. Roberts Auto Sales in Denver. Dave was a caring man who stood on the principles of honesty and integrity, with a joyful attitude. Dave's faith in God was deep. He enjoyed serving others and accepting everyone. Dave was always prepared with a joke for every occasion. He was committed to his wife and an encourager to his two daughters who called him their hero.

Dave is survived by his wife, Debra, daughters Jordan and Anna, his mother, Patsy, and brothers, Edward and Kenneth. Preceding him in death were his dad, Tom, and sister, Susie.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00am July 3, 2021 at Generations Church, 3600 W 22nd St, Greeley, CO 80634.
