David Moreno Lazo

David Moreno Lazo of Fort Collins passed away at home on July 21, 2009. David was born on November 8, 1943 in Big Springs, Texas to Francisco and Geneva Lazo. David married Mary Rachel Gomez on December 4, 1972 in Reno, Nevada. They moved to Colorado in 1972. David leaves behind his wife, Mary Rachel Lazo and his three children, Shawn Lazo, Rita Rodriguez and Ruby Rayos all of Fort Collins. Mr. Lazo had 7 grandchildren and one step grandson all of Fort Collins. He had two brothers and three sisters. Mr. Lazo will be joining his family that has been waiting for him; his parents, three brothers and four sisters. Mr. Lazo took great pride in working for Poudre R-1 School District for 24 years. He also enjoyed fishing, hiking, traveling and he loved having his grandchildren around as well as his friends. There will be a remembrance of him at a gathering at 400 Hickory St #170 on Saturday at 2:00 pm.
