David A. Heimann, 57, of Fort Collins died December 6, 2012. David was born October 22, 1955 in Medina, North Dakota to Deryl Heimann and Caroline Milek Heimann. David moved with his family to Colorado in 1975. He lived in Pierce, Windsor, and Fort Collins, Colorado. David owned his own construction company, Heimann Painting and Construction. He was a member of the Denver's Painter Union. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. He also was a card and dice enthusiast. He is survived by his son, Jason Heimann of Fort Collins; three daughters, Brenda Koch, Sarah Heimann, and Melissa Mosness all of Loveland; three brothers, Darrick Heimann of Fort Collins, Darren Heimann of Fort Collins, and Louis Heimann of Eaton, Colorado; two sisters, Leesa Wyers of Greeley, Colorado and Derlynn Flores of Ault, Colorado; 12 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandson. Preceding David in death are his parents and brother, Melvin. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday at Bohlender Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery.
