David Paul Hage passed peacefully away on November 10th, 2023 in Fort Collins, CO.
David was born September 23rd 1964 at Boulder Community Hospital, graduated from Fairview High School and attended the Boulder Vocation Tech College. Although David faced many challenges losing his eyesight in his 20's, due to Retinitis Pigmentosa, his gentle and kind spirit touched the lives of many people who knew him.
David had many friends in Fort Collins these past years who's generous hearts would spend time talking with him about his favorite subjects- the Weather Channel, history and trivia. He was very much inspired listening to a presentation by Temple Grandin in Fort Collins, where she urged us to accept our differences, celebrate the things we can do in this life, and not be discouraged by the things we cannot do.
He is survived by his brother Carl Hage of Sunnyvale, CA, brother Frank Hage, sister n law Elizabeth Brock, niece Jennifer Hage, nephew James Hage of Boulder, CO as well as his sister Anita Kear and brother in law Anthony Kear of LaPorte, CO. David's parents preceded him in death, father Donald Hage and mother Rosalie Montrose Hage of Boulder CO.
A small family memorial service will occur later this year. Memorial contributions can be made to the Marshfield Clinic and Elderhaus of Fort Collins.
