Dr. David A. Goff of Fort Collins, Colorado passed away quietly on December 17, 2019. He was surrounded by family members and close friend Kathy. Dave is survived by his daughter Lisette, his son Steve and Steve's wife Claudine, a brother Glen, four grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Dave was born Alameda, California on June 10, 1930. After graduating high school, he served proudly in the U.S. Coast Guard and U.S. Airforce. In 1968, with over 21 years of service, he retired as a Master Sergeant from the U.S. Air Force. He then went on to teach vocational education in Fort Collins at Poudre and Rocky Mountain High Schools. While teaching high school, Dave earned bachelor and masters degrees and a Ph.D. in Vocational Education from Colorado State University. He taught high school for over 20 years and loved teaching and his students. Dave was also proud to be a Freemason where he was a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite. Dave eventually retired to his beloved mountain up Rist Canyon. A memorial service will be held for Dave at 3:00 pm on Saturday December 21, 2019 at Bohlender Funeral Chapel, 121 W.
