David Romaine Allen, 96, passed away Monday, December 10, 2018.
David was born in Benton, Kansas on December 29, 1921 to James and Annie Allen. He grew up on a farm and was in the Army from 1942 to 1945, serving in the Pacific during WWII.
He married Betty J. Brown on June 14, 1946. They lived in Wichita and had two sons, David and Rick.
In 1959 they moved to Lakewood, CO. David was very active in the Nazarene Church. In 1991 he moved to Fort Collins to be close to family.
David was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, four sisters and his wife of 62 years. David married again to Wilma Graham.
He is survived by 2 sons, David (Janine) and Rick (Sandy) and two grandchildren, Brinna Dolifka (Troy) and Josh Allen as well as several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service with Military flag presentation will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at Bohlender Funeral Chapel. Friends may send condolences to the family at bohlenderfuneralchapel.com.
