Daniel Everett Thomas

Daniel "Dan" Everett Thomas, 74, of Fort Collins, died April 5, 2010 at Spring Creek Health Care. Mr. Thomas was born October 28, 1935 in Easton, Kansas to John Iverson Thomas and Maxine Alma "Toothaker" Thomas. Mr. Thomas was a custodian for various companies. Dan loved to read, fish, and hunt in his younger days. He also loved to tell jokes and make people laugh and enjoyed John Wayne movies. Survivors include his former wife, Betty Thomas of Fort Collins; sons, Carl Thomas of Craig, Colorado and Don Thomas of Fort Collins; daughter, Claudia Schaeffer of Fort Collins, and five grandchildren, April, Jessica, Amanda, Phillip and Donnie; and eight great-grandchildren, Heather, Bubba, Taiyler, Nicholas, Nicole, Makayla, Kalie and Lillbeth. Preceding Dan in death are his parents John and Maxine Thomas. A Memorial Service will be held at Bohlender Funeral Chapel on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. Memorial contributions can be made to the charity of your choice in care of Bohlender Funeral Chapel, 121 W.
