Daniel Delvin Junker, 66, of LaPorte, Colorado, passed away on October 19th, 2020 after a valiant effort to recover from a debilitating stroke.

Dan was born on March 29th, 1954 to Delvin and Donna (Stinchfield) Junker in Brainerd, Minnesota. He attended Brainerd public schools and then Platte Valley Bible College in Nebraska. Dan served in the Air Force and then returned to Platte Valley Bible College where he met and married his wife, Karen Scott.

Dan followed several career paths (he worked for his father at Crow Wing County Abstract Company and he sold life insurance), before finding his true interests fulfilled in the field of natural medicine.

Dan graduated from the Southern School of Naturopathy as a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine. Dan was a passionate student as well as educator in his field and hosted hundreds of radio programs and authored several books on the subject of natural health. He had a very loyal following and his deepest desire to help people find a balanced state of function and optimal wellness was fulfilled when he worked with his clients.

Dan is survived by his 4 children: Jason Scott Junker (Tessa), Erica Renée Junker, Emily Ruth Thalman, and Jeremiah Dean Junker (Christie). He was the proud grandfather of 8 grandchildren: Rachel, Justice, Jase and Dustin Junker; Benjamin and Brooke MacDonald; and Wyatt and Willow Junker. He is also survived by his mother, Donna Junker and his siblings: DeEtte Nicholson, Dean Junker, and Diane Junker.

Dan was preceded in death by his father Delvin and his brother Doug.

Dan was laid to rest in Ridgelawn Cemetery near Truman, MN.
