Daniel (Dan) Wayne Jackson, 58, passed away from natural causes on Friday, January 30, 2025 in Fort Collins, Colorado. He was born April 2, 1966 in Sacramento, California to Luther W. Jackson and Evelyn (Hileman) Jackson.
Dan's family moved to Ft. Collins in 1972 to build their own business, The Dog House Boarding Kennel. After graduating from Poudre High School in 1984, Dan eventually followed his mom to Cordell, Oklahoma to be near extended family. After returning to the Ft. Collins/Wellington area in the early 1990s for better job opportunities, he worked in plumbing for many years and was part of the Aggie Plumbing family for the last almost 10 years.
Growing up, Dan loved to hunt with his dad and played Little League for several years. He also enjoyed fishing and waterskiing and was an avid Denver Broncos fan.
Dan is survived by his son, Johnathan Jackson of Ft. Collins, and his sister Dana (Mark) Cochran and nieces Emily and Holly Cochran of Seattle, Washington. He was preceded in death by both of his parents. His interment will be at Grandview Cemetery in Ft. Collins next to his dad.
