Daniel Elijah Day

This is the hardest thing I've ever written, but on May 14, 2016 our beloved Daniel left this earth and went to a place of forever rest and peace in heaven. Daniel Elijah Day was born April 7, 1993, in Torrance California. He was born just as the sun came up over the horizon and they put that beautiful boy in my arms. I can still see the golden morning sun shining softly on his face when he opened his eyes and looked at his Dad and I for the very first time.

Daniel was a beautiful tender soul, with a heart so big, he had the ability of such depth and compassion for others more then any person many have known. He had the ability to see things others missed. He was the one who would stay up late with you till the wee hours of the morning listening and being there for his family and the friends he so treasured.

He was incredibly insightful and saw things with tremendous depth. His laugh was so enduring . He was the bright morning sun.

Daniel was the loving son of his Dad James Day and of his Mom Kristen Day. The big brother of both his Sister Jessica Day and his big little brother David Day both he loved so very deeply. The treasured Grandson of not only Richard & Kay Odgers but also his Grandma Jan Day Iodence all loved him so deeply. Along with his Aunts, uncles and many cousins, Daniel will be deeply, deeply missed for the rest of our lives, we will forever love him and cherish every moment we were given with him.

A celebration of his life will be at the family farm where he loved to be and spent much time there. It will be Thursday May 19, 2016 @ 2pm. Address is: 4625 East County Road 52, Fort Collins, CO 80524.
