Dan W. Gregory, 93, of Fort Collins, died Nov. 13, 2008, at his residence. Dan was born Feb. 16, 1915, in Foxhome, Minn., to John Hugh Gregory and Sophia Peterson Gregory. Dan married Elizabeth Bessie Puleston on Jan. 20, 1940, in Arvada. Dan lived in Wyoming and Northern Colorado since 1940 and moved to Fort Collins in 1957. Daniel was a line supervisor for the Western Slope Gas Company. He was a rockhound, who enjoyed camping and flyfishing in the mountains and the Poudre Canyon. He was also a longtime member of the Oddfellows. Survivors include his son, Dan J. Gregory of Decatur, Alabama; a daughter, Annetta Saxerud of Fort Collins; one sister, Ethel Emerine of Fort Collins; four grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Preceding Dan in death are his parents, a brother, Owen Gregory and his wife Bessie. A Funeral Service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Friday at Bohlender Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Roselawn Cemetery. Those who desire may view Dan from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday. A visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday at Bohlender Funeral Chapel.
