Dakota Blake Noah

Dakota Blake, a vibrant young man, went to be with the Lord on January 21, 2018. An infantryman with Company B, 1st Combined Arms Battalion, 18th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division. Dakota joined the Army in September 2016 and arrived at Fort Riley in January 2017. His awards and decorations included the National Defense Service Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal and the Army Service Ribbon.
Prior to his joining the Army, Dakota Blake grew up climbing the mountains, camping, riding four wheelers, investigating anything and everything, and finding (more like creating) adventures around the Fort Collins area. He graduated from Highland High School in 2014. His track team went out in a blaze of glory that year when they took third in the 4x100m relay at state and nearly broke the school record for it as well. Dakota Blake's next path lead him to Mesa State University where he dabbled in criminal law and enjoyed his new-found freedom. On his 18th birthday he took his first skydiving adventure and was instantly bitten by the quest to discover his true destiny in life. He was on an ambitious path to finding his way.
He was the oldest of the 18 great-grandchildren in his generation. He is survived by his mother, Tonya Stultz; his stepfather, Shadd Stultz; his stepbrothers, Shadd Jr. and Dawson; his grandmothers, Diane Lemon and LuEllen Hampton; his great-grandmother, Ruth Lemon; his two dogs, Benelli and Tes; his cat, Bootsie; and his father, Lonnie Noah; stepmother, Sher Noah; his half-sisters, Savannah and Sierra. He is preceded in death by his grandpa, Kemper Noah.
The Memorial Service celebrating Dakota's life, will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, 1200 South Taft Hill Road, Fort Collins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be contributed to Wounded Warrior Project in care of Bohlender Funeral Chapel, 121 W. Olive, Fort Collins, Colorado 80524, in the name of Dakota Blake Noah.
