Cynthia "Cindi" Ann Hamar, 64, passed away peacefully on December 8, 2015 with her daughter, Juli by her side. She had a severe acute illness the last two weeks of her life, and passed at McKee Medical Center Hospice Unit. Cindi was born November 11, 1951 to James and Beverly (Mickey) Hoffman. She was the oldest of five children. Cindi, David and Dan were born to Beverly who passed away in childbirth in 1957. They were joined by Heather and Philip from the union of James and Ruth (Norman) Hoffman who married in 1958.

Cindi was a graduate of Fort Collins High School in 1970 and Northeastern Junior College in 1972. She has one daughter, Juli Covelli Pachek married to Chris Pachek of Wiggins. Cindi married Dwayne Hamar on November 14, 1990, Dwayne's son is Mitch and his wife, Angie Hamar of Yuma. Cindi was an avid horsewoman and gifted horse trainer and riding instructor. She was at her best on the back of a horse riding trails in the mountains with family and friends. Cindi was a resident of Weldona, CO from 1972-1981 and was a member of Weldon Valley Presbyterian Church. In the early 80's, she moved back to the family homestead and started her business called Homestead Horse Center, in Ft. Collins, CO. She has lived in Nunn, CO for the past several years with her husband, Dwayne, where they raise horses.

Cindi was a proud Grannie of 4 boys; Hunter Keely and Sam Pachek of Wiggins, also Wayde and Zach Hamar of Yuma. She is survived by her husband Dwayne Hamar of Nunn, Colorado. Her parents Jim and Ruth Hoffman, her brothers David Hoffman and Philip Hoffman all of Fort Collins, Colorado. Her brother Dan and Sandra Hoffman of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; sister, Heather and Neal Wolhart of Fort Collins; daughter, Juli and Chris Pachek and grandsons, Hunter Keely and Sam Pachek of Wiggins; step-son, Mitch and Angie Hamar with grandson, Zach Hamar of Yuma, Colorado.

Cindi was proceeded in death by her mother, Beverly (Mickey) Hoffman; her grandparents, Coy and Fay Hoffman, her grandparents, Philip and Julia Norman, her grandson, Wayde Hamar, and her sister-in-law, Patricia Hoffman.

There will be a Celebration of Life Cowboy BBQ potluck in Cindi's honor at Summitview Community Church, 1601 West Drake Road, Fort Collins, CO 80526, at noon on December 19, 2015. All who loved Cindi are welcome to come and celebrate a life well lived, just the way Cindi would have liked to celebrate.
