Connie Gebhart, 84, of Fort Collins, CO went home to be with the Lord on March 13, 2022
Connie Kinsley was born in Oakley, KS on February 4, 1938. She spent most of her younger years growing up in Salina, KS. In high school she met the love of her life, Jim Gebhart, and they were married after Connie graduated in 1956. Over the years, Connie, Jim and their 3 children moved back and forth from KS to CO for Jim's work transfers and finally settling in Fort Collins in 1972.
Connie was a wonderful homemaker, cook and seamstress. She made many beautiful quilts and clothing for her family and friends. She loved cooking many delicious dinners and preparing large meals for family gatherings, especially at Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Her pride and joy was her husband, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She also adored her little dog, Abbey.
Connie and Jim spent over 65 years together in marriage and enjoyed traveling, taking cruises and spending time with family. Connie and Jim attended Front Range Baptist Church in Fort Collins.
She is survived by her loving husband Jim, sons Doug and Scott Gebhart, daughter Cheryl Ronay, brother Jerry Kinsley, their 8 grandchildren: Michelle, JD, Lucas, Rachel, Megan, Adam, Kendra, Jacey and their 8 great grandchildren.
A service will be held on Saturday March 19 at 1:00 pm at Front Range Baptist Church in Fort Collins. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens Cemetery.
