Colleen Isabel Jordan
February 1, 1943 - August 25, 2026
Born February 1, 1943 to Arthur and Lillian Colwell. Passed away peacefully Tuesday, August 25, 2026. She went to be with her Lord and Savior at the age of 83.
Colleen was preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years, Forrest Jordan on March 6, 2021. She is remembered by her three sons Brian, Rick and Travis; two daughter-in-laws, Shawn Jordan and Rhonda Jordan; four grandchildren, Cody, Trevor, Annalyse and Clint, all who live in the Fort Collins Wellington area.
Colleen is also remembered by her Mother Lillian Colwell, brother Dan Colwell and sister Joyce Elder.
Colleen was raised and attended school in the Wellington area. Colleen worked for The Public Service power company before starting a family. When her children were in school full time she voluntered with the Poudre School District helping children learn to read. She later went to work for the Rocky Mountain Natural Gas co. in Wellington which later became Kinder Morgan. She finished her working career with Larimer County Clerk and Recorder.
A graveside service is scheduled for Thursday September 3, 2026 at 10:00 am at Roselawn Cemetery in Fort Collins.
