Listen to Obituary
It is with heaviness in our hearts to announce Clyde James Harris Jr. passed away peacefully in his home in Fort Collins Colorado on the am of Saturday November 25, 2017. Clyde passed away during his sleep due to his many illnesses and health conditions that he unfortunately dealt with daily.

Clyde was born to late Clyde James Harris Sr and late Joyce Ann Hodges Harris on June 14, 1971 in Florence, South Carolina.

Clyde Harris preceded one sister Angela Jane Harris from June 2007. Clyde grew up on the coast of North Carolina and graduated from Pamlico County High School. He then proceeded onto the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (Tar heels). Clyde enlisted into the United States Army in September 1992 and was medically/honorably discharged in February 1998.

Clyde married Shylo Balderston Harris in 2001 which then followed with the birth of the two surviving boys Daniel Trent Harris and Elijah James Harris. Clyde began working in North Carolina as an aircraft mechanic for Timco Aviation and Pace Airlines until his health worsened and he was unable to work. Clyde moved to Fort Collins Colorado in August of 2016 with family.

A memorial for Clyde will occur on Monday, December 4, 2017 at Bohlender Funeral Chapel in Fort Collins, Colorado and followed with a Military service at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Staging Area C in Denver, CO. The family would like to have a celebration of life in the Spring of 2018 at the coast of North Carolina for family and friends who would like to attend.

Clyde enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating and of course watching any sport. Clyde was an avid North Carolina Tar Heels fan and Carolina Panthers fan who greatly enjoyed watching them in any setting. Clyde was very proud of his boys with academics and sports and loved watching them grow in the community.
