Clifford L. Macniven

Clifford L. "Cliff" MacNiven, 58, of Fort Collins, died Tuesday, October 6. He was born June 13, 1951 in Kobe, Japan to Louis and Yoshiko Funabiki MacNiven. Cliff graduated from San Pedro High School and graduated with a Bachelors degree from the University of Southern California. He worked in importing and exporting steel pipeline, and also as a right of way specialist in a pipeline company. Clifford had a deep love for all things in nature and outdoors. He rode century bicycle rides, backpacked, hiked, snow skied, snowshoed and loved wildlife and photography. He loved meeting new people and seeing new things. He is survived by his mother, Yoshiko MacNiven; sister, Kathy Jacobs; stepdaughter, Courtenay Silvergleid Wallpe; stepson, Jordan Silvergleid; niece, Amy Jacobs, and nephew Michael Jacobs. A Memorial Service will be held, Saturday, 10:00 a.m. at Mount Calvary Church, 3485 Stanford Court, Boulder, Colorado. Pastor Kevin Meyer will officiate.
