She also ran a small business, Cakes by Claudine, baking and decorating wedding cakes for over 20 years. She was a member at Faith Evangelical Free Church in Fort Collins. Claudine loved children and the Lord, and combined her loves through her ministry with AWANA and teaching Sunday school at Faith Evangelical Free Church. Claudine and Tom worked together with their family to build a mountain cabin home in Crystal Lakes, Colorado. Claudine loved her mountain home and enjoyed cooking on the old fashioned wood stove. Claudine and Tom's favorite vacation getaways were long, relaxing days at their cabin and cruises to the Caribbean. Claudine especially enjoyed the formal dinner nights, dressing up and enjoying life on the cruise ships with her handsome husband.
Claudine left a legacy of love that extends beyond her immediate family. Her compassion and caring for her foster children as well as the children in her church has influenced more lives than we can count. She was a blessing to all who knew her.
