With great sadness, the Davis family announces the death of Clari Davis, of Denver, who died peacefully at 95 on May 16, 2025. Clari was born in Denver in 1930. She was preceded in death by her spouse, Robert L Davis, Sr. and her brother, Art Milman. She is survived by her sons, Robert L Davis, Jr and William S Davis, six grandchildren: Ben, Elizabeth, Jessica, Allison, Madison, and Lucienne, and six great-grandchildren.

Clari graduated from East High School. She had a passion for design and creativity that spanned multiple disciplines. As a dedicated member of the Colorado Potter's Guild, she studied with celebrated artists like Betty Woodman, who's innovative ceramics deeply influenced her own work as a ceramicist. She loved and collected art, modern furniture and all sorts of design objects.

At the same time, Clari's love for design extended to the natural world. She was active for many years with the Denver Botanic Gardens being instrumental in creating the Herb Garden with her friends Gloria Falkenberg and Lainie Jackson. Although not formally trained, later in life she became a successful landscape designer creating stunning, thoughtful gardens that reflected her deep appreciation for form and beauty.

She also loved animals and was a regular Denver Zoo volunteer. She most of all cherished all the dogs in her life and pampered them with several walks a day.

Clari had a spunky personality and quick sense of humor. She will be missed. A memorial celebration of her life is planned at the Denver Botanic Gardens.
