Clara Louise Panella, 87, of Fort Collins, passed away on May 27, 2020 at a local nursing facility.
Clara was born February 2, 1933 in Straton, Nebraska to John W. and Katie Andrijeski.
While attending CSU, she met her husband, Angelo C. Panella at the Newman Club and married, him on August 23, 1952. Angelo preceded her in death.
Clara was very active at St. Joseph Catholic Church. She used to play the organ for early morning masses. She was also an avid member of the Legion of Mary.
Survivors include her children, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Insko of California; Mr. and Mrs. Carmen Panella of Fort Collins; Mr. and Mrs. Dominic Panella of California; and Regina Roettjer of Fort Collins; 13 grandchildren and 13 ½ great grandchildren.
Preceding Clara in death are her husband; Anthony Panella, Odilla Ann Panella-Bliss and Xander Joseph Panella.
A Christian Burial for Clara was held on Friday, May 29, 2020 at Resthaven Memory Gardens Cemetery in Fort Collins.
