Clara Byron

Clara Rosalie Byron, 77, of Fort Collins, died Feb. 24, 2008, at Poudre Valley Hospital. Mrs. Byron was born Aug. 24, 1930, in Fort Collins, to Leonard Verellen and Clara McGinnley Verellen. Clara married Paul A. Byron on Aug. 24, 1948, in Fort Collins. Rosalie lived all her life in Fort Collins. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Survivors include her two daughters, Kay Durante of Cheyenne, Wyo., and Terry Nelson of Fort Collins; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding Clara in death are her parents and husband. A prayer vigil service will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday at Bohlender Funeral Chapel; a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
