Christopher J. Dameron passed away on Sunday July 31 in Ft. Collins, Colorado at the age of 70. He made Ft. Collins his home for the past 40 years and leaves behind many people who loved him. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Susie, and their children, Andrew of Ft. Collins (Amber, Dean and Sawyer) and Alison of Prairie City, IA (Jake, Jali, Logan, Lucas and Lewis). He also has a daughter, Rebecca of Los Angeles, and a son, Matthew of Geneva, Florida (Shauna, Jake and Keera). Chris loved his wide circle of friends and if you were among them, you knew he considered you family too.
Chris was born in Twin Falls, ID on June 21, 1952. He is preceded in death by his parents, Thelma and Charles. His five siblings, Steve, Ron, G'Lenn, Mark and Curtis, and their families mourn him but also celebrate his well-lived life. Chris was a man of many passions including fishing, gardening, vintage British motorcycles, hunting, card games and skiing - in his more nimble days. He ended his career in the biomedical field which offered him the chance to travel and visit a few foreign countries; a trip to England with his wife, Susie, being among his most enjoyed. But without question his greatest joy was spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren. They brought tears of joy to his eyes and a smile to his face right up until the end of his life. Chris' spirit will continue on in all of them.
