Christopher Andrew Cederquist was peacefully called away to his Lord this week. He was born in Sumter, South Carolina, at Shaw Air Force Base on November 11, 1969.
After Chris settled in Colorado, he married Benita Gomez in May of 1996, and together they had their daughter and joy, Isabella. Saturdays were a special time for beloved daughter, Bella and her very proud father. Chris enjoyed hunting in the Colorado Western Slope; fishing for salmon and halibut in Alaska with the guys and coming back with more fish than one could imagine. He greatly enjoyed travel and new experiences in life. Traveling twice to the Mediterranean country of Italy proved to be a profound destination.
Chris was the youngest of five children, and is preceded in death by his father, Gerald Cederquist, and sister, Anne Torgeson. Chris was survived by his wife of 21 years, Benita Cederquist; and daughter, Isabella; mother, Sylvia Cederquist; and siblings, Gary Cederquist, Alaska; Michael Cederquist, Utah; and Liz Dale, Pennsylvania. He was a member of Saint Joseph Catholic Church.
A Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m., Sunday, November 12, 2017 at Bohlender Funeral Chapel; A Funeral Mass, Monday, November 13, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Saint Joseph Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Saint Joseph Catholic School Tuition Assistance Fund in care of Bohlender Funeral Home, 121 W. Olive, Fort Collins, CO 80524.
