Christopher Philip Blum

Christopher (Chris) Philip Blum, age 46, of Fort Collins, CO passed away peacefully and became free of pain on Friday, July 1, 2022 at Pathways Hospice in Fort Collins, CO.

Chris was born September 10, 1975. In his childhood years, Chris spent a lot of time in Carnavon at his grandpa and grandmas restaurant, Brotherson Feed, always pulling shenanigans. In his high school years, he grew up in Schaller growing a love for Pontiacs, El Caminos, and other cars of the same suit.

Chris was always up for a good time and was known for his classic laugh, jokes, smart remarks (always followed by his mom saying 'Christopher'), love of Jim Beam, hard rock, his cars and wiener dogs. Through his trials, tribulations, and pain, he joked and laughed to the end.

Left to remember Chris include his parents Bryon and Cindy Segebart, grandmother Delores Brotherson, sisters Jill Hayden and Kelli Berg, and step father, Pat Carstensen. He will also be remembered by Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, nieces, nephews, and countless good friends.

Chris was preceded in death by his grandpa, Howard Brotherson, uncles David and Mark Brotherson, sister Jackie Covey, and Cousin Patrick Brotherson.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday August 6, 2022 from 4-6pm at the Reiff Park Shelter house, south of Early, Iowa, for close friends and family.
