Charlotte E. Jamrozy, 85, of Aurora, formerly of Fort Collins, died Feb. 28, 2008, at her residence. Mrs. Jamrozy was born April 1, 1922, in Wuppertal, Germany, to Oscar Leckenbusch and Emma Niepmann Leckenbusch. When she was 3 years old she moved with her family to New York City. Charlotte married Anthony Jamrozy on July 15, 1942, in New York. Charlotte was an officer at Bankers Trust Company in New York City and Los Angeles, Calif. She lived in New York City until 1983 and then moved to Los Angeles. After three years she moved to Fort Collins and lived here until 2004 when she moved to Aurora. Charlotte was a volunteer at Poudre Valley Hospital and a member at the Senior Center where she won many awards for her china painting. Survivors include her two sons, Anthony and Edward Jamrozy, both of New York City; a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Tom Kraujalis of Aurora; a brother, Ernest Leckenbusch of New York, N.Y., 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Charlotte's husband preceded her in death in 1974. A memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Bohlender Funeral Chapel.
