Listen to Obituary
August 12, 1951 – February 21, 2017
Charles Jordan "Charlie" Stone II was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident in Windsor, CO on February 21, 2017 and will be greatly missed.

Charlie was the only child of Charles Jordan Stone and Olivia Armstrong (Fry) Stone. He grew up in Greeley and graduated from Greeley Central High School in 1969. He was married for 17 years to Connie Stoltz. He ran the family business of Stone and Stone Plumbing and Heating for more than 30 years. After retiring as a Master Plumber, he worked at Napa Auto Parts in Greeley. Charlie developed friendships wherever he went, including customers and coworkers. This was especially true at Napa, as he became close to those coworkers.

Charlie was an avid hunter and fisherman, an outdoorsman. He enjoyed reading, shooting, raising his bird dogs, riding motorcycles, playing pool and playing cards. He especially enjoyed his time with his family and with his friends. He was a patient teacher and had a wealth of knowledge and skill that he passed to his children.

Charlie is remembered as a caring and generous gentleman, as a wonderful friend, and as an outstanding father. His children feel incredibly grateful to have had him as their father, friend, and teacher.

Charlie is survived by his children Charles "CJ" (Julie) Stone III, Justin Stone, Joseph (Casey) Stone, Jessica (Robert) Stone Drake, and his grandchildren Alyx, Derek, Aidan, Fisher, Waylon, Jayden, and baby girl Stone due in June.

Charlie is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Olivia Stone.

A Memorial Service will be held on March 9, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Bohlender Funeral Chapel at 121 West Olive St. in Fort Collins.
