Charles Kevin Colter, 60, of Ft. Collins, quietly passed away on Monday, Feb 1, 2021 after a short battle with cancer. He was born Oct 31, 1961 in Laramie, WY to William Virgil Colter and Georgia Mae (Oberhelman) Colter. He moved with his family to Ft. Collins, CO when he was very young and has lived there ever since. He was a house painter by trade. His interests included hiking and his best canine friend, Solo.
He is survived by a daughter, Trisha Guymon of Green River, WY and a son, Brandon Colter; 3 grandchildren, Brittany and Elaina Payton of Taos, NM , and Eirik Golden of Green River, WY; a brother, Chris (Jenny) Colter of Laramie, WY, and two sisters, Norma Popp of Raytown, MO, and Elaine (Pat) Jobes of Independence, Mo, as well as many good friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Joyce Sullivan of Independence, MO.
