C.C. GÇ£ToddGÇ¥ Gross Jr. joined his lovely wife, Loraine, in eternal peace July 21, 2006. He was the only son of C.C. Gross Sr. and Geraldine Swarm Gross born May 16, 1922, and was raised in Pine Bluffs, Wyo. Todd attended the Montezuma School for Boys and Santa Clara University in California and served in the Navy during World War II as a lieutenant stationed in Guam. After the war, he returned to Pine Bluffs as an insurance salesman. Later he would become president of FarmerGÇÖs State Bank and was the co-founder and CEO of Wyoming Western Oil. He married Loraine Lenz Carroll in Crown Point, Ind., on July 18, 1953. She preceded him in death by less than a month. They shared a very loving and fulfilling life together. They lived in Pine Bluffs, Wyo., until his retirement and then had a second home in Fallbrook, Calif. Together they enjoyed golf, traveling and moments with their friends and family. He is survived by his son, John Gross of Pine Bluffs, Wyo.; daughters, Georgia Gross of Roseburg, Ore., Paula and Michael Musgrave, and Andrea and Scott Lamons of Fort Collins; and nine grandchildren, A.J., Michael, Ryan and Victoria Gross of Torrington, Wyo., Nicole, Gus and Grant Musgrave of Fort Collins, and William and Kelly Lamons of Fort Collins. There will be a Mass of Christian burial for both Todd and Loraine at St. PaulGÇÖs Catholic Church at 3 p.m. July 25 in Pine Bluffs, Wyo. Interment will follow at the Pine Bluffs cemetery. A celebration of their life will be in September. The family requests any memorial donations be made to Cheyenne Animal Shelter or to Hospice of Larimer County.
