Catherine Marie Fox

Cathy, 43, of Fort Collins passed away suddenly January 18, 2011. She was born April 29, 1967 in Macomb, Illinois to W. Michael and Anna Marie Slothouber Zander. She attended elementary schools in Fort Collins and Newark, Ohio. She graduated from Poudre High School on 1986. She was an active member of the Poudre Chorus. In 1987 she married Jeffery Alan Muniz. She had 3 beautiful children, Leanne, Jeffrey John JJ, and Joey. She remarried in 2003 to Ray Allen Fox, who was the love of her life. She worked at County Cork, Poudre School District Food Service, and Wal-Mart. She was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She is preceded in death by maternal grandparents, John and Blanche Slothouber; paternal grandmother, S. Joan Zander; father, W. Michael Zander; stepfather, Fred Derf Collier, and cousin, Tyler Zander. She is survived by paternal grandfather, Warren Zander; mother, Ann Collier; husband, Ray Fox; stepbrother, Fred Collier III; stepmother, Ruth E. Zander; half-sister, Mrs. Ray Tifanie Hutto; ex-husband, Jeffrey Muniz; daughter, Leanne Muniz; sons, JJ Muniz and Joey Muniz; stepchildren, Crystal and Dylan Fox; three grandchildren, Austin Knorr, Jayden Muniz, Alyssa Fox, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Catherine Marie Fox Memorial Fund in care of Bohlender Funeral Chapel, 121 W. Olive, Fort Collins, Colorado 80524. A Memorial Service will be held at Bohlender Funeral Chapel on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life will be held at the American Legion Post #4, 2124 County Road 54G, Corner of Taft Hill and Hwy 14 after the memorial service.
