Carolyn Jewett

Carolyn L. Jewett, 66, of Fort Collins died March 23, 2007, at Poudre Valley Hospital. Mrs. Jewett was born April 26, 1940, in Fort Collins to John Marsh and Wreath Mark Marsh. Carolyn married Norman "Red" W. Jewett on Nov. 10, 1955 in Fort Collins. She lived all her life in Fort Collins. Carolyn was a homemaker who enjoyed fishing, crocheting, and gardening. Survivors include Carolyn's husband, Norman "Red" W. Jewett of Fort Collins; three sons, Wayne Jewett and his wife, Colleen, of Windsor, Robert Jewett and his wife, Rebecca, of Fort Collins, and Dale Jewett and his wife, Jacque, of Carr; a daughter, Vicky Jewett of Greeley; a brother, David Matheney of Denver; one sister, Lequetta Thill of Denver; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Delbert Matheney; and sister, Alice Narum. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Bohlender Funeral Chapel.
