Caroline Ann (Williams) Carlstrom passed away Monday, July 28, 2025, surrounded by family. Ann was born January 17, 1943 in Fairbanks, Alaska, to John Alden Williams and Dorthea (Dot) Irene (Arnold) Williams.

Ann grew up with her brother James (Jim) Alden Williams. Ann's dad, Alden, was a bush pilot and a commercial air pilot. Dot was a school teacher and magistrate in small towns and villages in Alaska.

Ann graduated from high school in Anchorage and attended Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colo., to study animal husbandry. It was during this time that Ann met her lifelong friends, Chris Ann and Karen.

While at CSU, Ann also met and married Terry Carlstrom, who brought Ann to North Park. They lived on Lone Pine Ranch owned by Terry's dad, Victor Carlstrom.

Terry and Ann had two children, Scott Brian and Stacy Lynn. They spent many wonderful years living, working and managing the ranch. Later, another child was added to the family. Spring Kay Thompson became a sister and daughter to the family.

Ann loved photography, animals, nature, painting, crafts and had a green thumb. She was an active member of the North Park Community Church where her love of God and people was expressed through her kindness and helping people in need.

Ann was also active with the Jackson County Council on Aging (JCCOA). She was at events and took time to enjoy her community and neighbors. She showed that weekly Sunday mornings when friends and family gathered for breakfast downtown.

Ann is survived by her son Scott Carlstrom and (wife) Sue House of Mancos, Colo., daughter Spring and (husband) Wes Reddick and their daughter Morgan of Longmont, Colo., granddaughter Treann Quick and (husband) Leo Kullman and their daughter Juniper Lynn of Royal Oak, Mich., grandson Trevor and (wife) Taylor Quick and their children Oliver, Parker, Logan, and August of Craig, Colo.

Ann is preceded in death by her parents Alden and Dot Williams, her daughter Stacy Lynn Quick, and her brother Jim Williams.

Services will be held at the North Park Community Church, 509 McKinley Drive, Walden, Colo., Saturday, August 9, 2025, at 2 p.m. Her ashes will be spread at a later date.
