Carlos H. Palacios, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, passed away surrounded by family on March 26th, 2024. He was born in Texas, traveled around, and found his way to the beautiful Rocky Mountains. Carlos meant a lot of different things to everyone in his life and went by many different names such as Gordo, Guelo, Dad, Daddy, Papi, Peepaw, Lacho, and more. He leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and cherished memories.
Carlos was known for his witty sense of humor, stubbornness, and wise spirit. He dedicated his life to his family, projects, and was always working towards a goal. He was a teacher to many, sharing his knowledge and passion for motorcycles and cars with anyone who would lend an ear. Good stories weren't the only things he cooked up, he sure knew how to smoke a yummy brisket and delicious meals that put the rest to shame. His love for projects made him one of the most innovative problem solvers. He made the impossible ideas seem possible and never failed to dream big which inspired many.
His children remember him as a loving and supportive father who always had a witty joke up his sleeve to make a bad day better. He would always make sacrifices to protect each of them. As a grandfather, he delighted in spending time with his grandchildren involving them in his ninja shenanigans. If you were lucky enough to be invited to one of his secret missions you learned a lesson or two on spontaneity, love, and ambition.
He took a lot of pride in his children and grandchildren.
Carlos will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His legacy of generosity, humility, and love will continue to inspire those whose lives he touched.
A private service will be held.
He is now at peace reunited with his son Eddie, his father, and his mother.
We will forever carry our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend in our hearts, remembering his laughter, his wisdom, and the love he shared with us all. May he rest in peace.

Carlos H. Palacios, amado esposo, padre, abuelo, bisabuelo, hermano, tío y amigo, falleció rodeado de familia el 26 de Marzo de 2024. Nació en Texas, viajó y encontró su camino a las hermosas Montañas Rocosas. Carlos significó muchas cosas diferentes para todos en su vida, y fue conocido por nombres diferentes como Gordo, Guelo, Dad, Daddy, Papi, Peepaw, Lacho, y más. Deja atrás un legado de amor, fortaleza, y recuerdos preciados.
Carlos era conocido por su ingenioso sentido del humor, terco, y su espíritu sabio. Dedicó su vida a su familia, a sus proyectos y siempre estaba trabajando hacia un objetivo. Fue un maestro para muchos, compartiendo su conocimiento y pasión por las motocicletas y los carros con cualquiera que escuchara. Las buenas historias no fueron las únicas cosas que se inventaba, seguro que sabía cómo humar un delicioso pecho de res y un delicioso guisado que avergüenza a los demás.
