Carl Clifton Gotti was born November 10, 1984 in Nacogdoches, TX. He was a 2003 graduate of Nacogdoches High School and earned a Bachelor of Animal Science degree from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2007. He married his first love, Bénédicte Sohier, in 2008 and they have two beautiful children together – Ethan Gotti (6) and Clara Gotti (4). He was employed with the City of Loveland as a Water Specialist. Carl passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2019 in Fort Collins, Colorado. He is survived by wife, Bénédicte and children, Ethan and Clara; parents Pamela Weatherford (Stan), Joe Gotti (Heather); sisters (Rebecca Rivers (Robert), and Addison and Emma Gotti; in-laws Etienne and Pia Sohier; brother-in-law Pierre Sohier (Gaëlle); and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Carl was an avid hunter, fisherman, and mountain biker . He loved the mountains and spending time outdoors. He and Benedicte traveled to many places around the world experiencing new places and cultures together. What he loved the most was being a father and helping his children learn and appreciate the outdoors. He was a wonderful husband, father, son, brother, and friend. His unique humor and wit will be missed, along with his bright eyes and big grin.
