Cari Stillman
December 18, 1981 – September 14, 2026

Cari Stillman, 44, of Fort Collins, Colorado, passed away on September 14, 2026, following a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. A beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, Cari lived with an extraordinary strength of spirit, a passion for life, and a deep love for the people fortunate enough to know her. Though her time here was far too short, the love she gave, the connections she made, and the remarkable energy she brought into the world will remain with those whose lives she touched.

Above all else, Cari's greatest joy and proudest accomplishment was being a mother to Carter, Zane, Dante, and Ashlyn. She loved them deeply, celebrated their individuality, encouraged their dreams, and took tremendous pride in the kind, compassionate, and loving people they were becoming. She wanted to share with them everything that brought her joy, from adventures and new experiences to the simple pleasures of everyday life. Nothing meant more to Cari than her children and the life she was building with her family. The love, strength, and values she shared with each of them will forever be among her most meaningful legacies.

Cari was a woman of remarkable warmth, determination, empathy, and depth. She formed deeply personal and lasting connections with those around her, often feeling the emotions of others as deeply as her own. She had a gift for understanding people, offering encouragement, and inspiring them to believe in themselves and become the best versions of who they could be. Her genuine compassion and willingness to listen made her a trusted and caring presence in the lives of those she loved. Having experienced profound loss at a young age herself, Cari developed an especially meaningful understanding of grief, resilience, and the importance of having someone to lean on. Through sharing her experiences and offering unconditional support, she provided comfort and guidance to others navigating life's challenges.

From an early age, Cari valued family, friendship, and meaningful connections. She also discovered a passion and natural talent for cheerleading, distinguishing herself through her athleticism, dedication, and determination. Her abilities continued to develop throughout high school, ultimately earning her a place as a varsity cheerleader for the University of Colorado Buffaloes. It was an accomplishment that reflected her drive, discipline, and spirited personality, qualities she carried with her throughout her life.

Cari had an adventurous spirit and a genuine curiosity about the world. She loved yoga, spiritual exploration, hiking, snowboarding, traveling, and spending time outdoors. She found joy in sports, whether attending basketball games, cheering on her favorite teams, or watching football with her family. She appreciated fine art, music, and the simple pleasure of a wonderful cup of coffee or espresso. Her interests and tastes were always evolving, reflecting a woman who never stopped learning, exploring, and discovering new things to love. Above all, she found happiness in sharing those experiences and passions with the people closest to her.

Cari also took great pride in her personal and professional growth. Through determination and perseverance, she overcame challenges and worked to create a life she could be proud of. She found fulfillment in her career as a property manager, where her accomplishments reflected both her dedication and her ability to connect meaningfully with others. Her journey was one of continual growth, resilience, and a desire to make the most of the opportunities life presented.

To her husband, Tony Deyo, Cari was his soulmate, best friend, and spiritual partner. Together they shared a profound love, a sense of adventure, and dreams for the future they were creating with their family. Their marriage, celebrated on the beautiful island of Kauai, reflected their shared appreciation for love, connection, and life's meaningful experiences. Through life's joys and challenges, they encouraged one another, grew together, and cherished the family and life they had built.

When faced with pancreatic cancer, Cari demonstrated extraordinary courage, grace, and an unwavering fighting spirit. Despite unimaginable challenges, her determination to fight for more time with her family never faded. Even during her most difficult days, she continued to give her love, strength, and encouragement to those around her.

Cari is survived by her loving husband, Tony Deyo; her beloved children, Carter, Zane, Dante, and Ashlyn; her mother, Carol; her stepfather, Andy; her sister, Angi; and many cherished extended family members and friends.

It is difficult to understand why someone with so much life still ahead of her, so much love left to give, and so many dreams yet to be fulfilled would leave this world so soon. Perhaps the answers lie beyond what we are able to comprehend in this life. Cari's family finds comfort in believing that her spiritual journey continues, guided by a higher purpose and intentions that extend beyond our understanding of this world. That her spirit remains close, helping to guide those she loves, bringing people together, and inspiring them to find strength, meaning, and joy in their own lives. While we may never fully understand why her time here was so short, we can honor her by embracing the love she gave, the connections she created, and the beautiful spirit that continues to live within us.
