Bruce Edward Ritts, 43, of Fort Collins, died June 6, 2008 at the Mattingly Reservoir, Ft. Collins, Colorado. Mr. Ritts was born December 20, 1964 in O'Neill, Nebraska to Edward Ritts and Beverly Lindquist Ritts. Bruce was raised in OGÇÖNeill. He graduated from OGÇÖNeill High School in 1983. He attended College in Springfield, South Dakota and the University of Wyoming. Bruce moved to the Ft. Collins area in 1989 from Laramie, Wyoming. He worked at ChristensenGÇÖs Feed Lot for several years and was a ranch manager. He was a member and active in the Ft. Collins Cowboy Church. Bruce loved hunting elk, deer, birds, tracking animals, and fishing. He will be remembered as a good cowboy, all-around hand, an accomplished bull rider, and a good family man. He married Kristin Campbell on December 28, 2002 at the Terry Bison Ranch in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Survivors include his wife, Kristin Ritts; two daughters, Ashlyn Hoopingarner and Rylee Cecilia Ritts both of Ft. Collins; a son, Dakota DiFrancisco of Ault, Colorado; his parents, Edward and Beverly Ritts, both of OGÇÖNeill; two sisters, Cherie Bonifas and her husband, Wayne of Blue Hill, Nebraska and Cindy Mayes and her husband, Bill of Minneapolis, Minnesota; his father-in-law, Jack Campbell of Wichita, Kansas; his mother-in-law, Bonnie Campbell of Longmont, Colorado, and five nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held at Cowboy Church Barn Arena, Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. To get to the church turn off at I-25 and the Windsor exit, go East to County Rd. #33 and then North, 1 mile. Pastor Darin Gleghorn will officiate at the service. A visitation will be held at the Church, 10:00 a.m., prior to the service on Wednesday. Memorial contributions can be made to Bruce E.
