We are sad to announce the passing of Bruce Haas of Ft. Collins, Colorado, age 72 on April 12, 2023. Bruce passed in his home after a courageous bout with an illness. Bruce was a wonderful father, husband, grandfather, and friend. He enjoyed boating at Horsetooth Reservoir, playing golf with his friends, and taking camping trips in his RV. He was a master plumber, business owner, and long-time contributing member of the Ft. Collins community. Bruce was a kind man and spread positivity wherever he went. His final wish was to have his family gather in Cancun, Mexico and celebrate his life. In typical Bruce Haas fashion, he fought his way through difficult travel conditions while being extremely ill. Not one complaint or negative word came from his mouth. Even though it was probably one of the most difficult things he had ever done, he did it with grace and love for his family. I will never forget the courage and fortitude he showed during this trip. Throughout his life he taught by example what it means to be a man. Not just a man, but a good man who loves and takes care of his family.
He is survived by his wife Teri Haas of Ft. Collins Colorado, his son Aaron Haas of Greeley Colorado, and several grandchildren. The family will be having a private celebration of life. In leu of flowers please leave a memory you have of Bruce below. He will be truly missed.
