Brett Templeton

Brett David Templeton, 33, of Fort Collins, lost his short battle with cancer June 14, 2007,at his residence surrounded by his family and close friends. Brett was born Oct. 18, 1973, in Fort Collins to David Templeton and Brigitte Hansen Templeton. He lived all his life in Fort Collins and was a 1992 graduate of Fort Collins High School. Brett served four years in the U.S. Navy. On Jan. 4, 2002, surrounded in secrecy, Brett married Jessica Stander. He was a mechanic at Eastman Kodak and Owens-Illinois. Brett was an avid outdoorsman and athlete. Brett knew how to have fun. He was a great family man, loving husband and a friend to everyone. Brett had a positive outlook on everything. Survivors include his wife, Jessica; a 4-year old son, Blake; a 2-year-old daughter, Lanie; his parents, David and Brigitte Templeton; and grandmother, Mary Templeton, all of Fort Collins; a sister, Kim Pask and her husband, Kevin of Aurora; and two nephews, Kyle and Keegan. A celebration of life will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Lincoln Center in the Canyon West Room.
