Bradley W. Roch, 72, of Broadwater, Nebraska formerly of Fort Collins, died October 2, 2012 at Poudre Valley Hospital after a brief battle with lung cancer. Brad was born July 14, 1940 in Hartford, Connecticut to Alfred and Betty Lou Bates Roch and was raised in Bloomfield, Connecticut. As a young man Brad traveled to Colorado with a friend and made Colorado his home. Prior to retirement Brad worked for various sign companies in Colorado and Wyoming. After moving to Broadwater, Nebraska, Brad worked for Twin City Roofing, retiring at the age of 62. During this time Brad was also twice elected to the Village Board of Trustees. Brad will be greatly missed by his wife of 42 years, Lois. Brad and Lois together brought five children to this marriage. Brad's children are Dennis Roch of Longmont, Carrie Giggy and daughter Nikki of Denver, Fran Ed Anderson and children, Matt, Zach, and Laurel of Ft. Collins, Rick Linda Vos and their children, Trista and her daughter, Skyla Dawn, and Tommy of Ft. Collins, and Tom Judi Vos of Ft. Collins. Also surviving Brad are his three siblings, Sue and Bill McAuliffe of Maine, Doug and Karen Roch, and Debbie, and Gordon Wild of Connecticut, brother-in-law Larry Kling of Eagle Grove, Iowa, and numerous nieces and nephews A casual gathering of family and friends will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at Bohlender Funeral Chapel.
